Our School PTA: A Registered Charity
We are proud that the ‘St Peter’s Parents - Teachers Association’ (PTA) is a registered charity with the Charity Commission (number 283529). This means that the PTA operates as a legally recognised charitable organisation, dedicated to supporting the education and development of the children at our school.
Being a registered charity comes with some benefits that help us provide the best resources and experiences for our children:
- Tax Relief and Benefits: As a registered charity, it is our intention to set up Gift Aid so that we are able to claim on eligible donations. This means that for every pound donated by a taxpayer, we can claim an additional 25p, helping us raise more funds for the school.
- Access to Grants: Our charity status allows us to apply for school grants and funding opportunities that are available exclusively to registered charities, providing extra resources for educational activities and improvements.
Get Involved
We welcome all parents, carers and guardians to get involved in our PTA’s activities and fundraising efforts. Your support helps us make a real difference in the educational experience of every child at our school. For more information on how you can volunteer please contact admin@stpeaton.org.uk
How your Money has been Spent
We are pleased to share with you the exciting news about how the money raised by our PTA has been put to great use in 2025! Thanks to your generous support and fundraising efforts, we have been able to invest in new reading books for our classrooms.
These books will help enhance the reading experience for all of our students, supporting their learning and development across all age groups. From engaging picture books for our younger pupils to challenging novels for older students, these resources are sure to inspire a love of reading and improve literacy skills.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has participated in PTA events. Your involvement is making a real difference to our school and to the educational experience of your child.
